BrukDarelZyvik — Independent Editorial on Browser Games

BrukDarelZyvik is a small, independent editorial publication. We do not host games, we do not run games, and we do not handle in-game payments. Our work is reading, testing on third-party portals, taking notes, and writing structured reviews that a reader can use to decide whether a title is worth their time.

Every review on this site follows the same template: a transparent methodology section, a published author byline, a last-reviewed date, a labelled rating breakdown, and a list of the public sources we consulted. Where we link to a game's official listing on a third-party site, we do so as a citation — never as a launch button.

Editorial Standards & Review Methodology

Our reviews are written by named editors and dated on publication. Each piece is updated on a rolling 90-day cycle.
The four pillars below describe how every BrukDarelZyvik review is produced.

How We Review

1

Multiple Hands-On Sessions

Each title is played by at least two editors across separate sessions, on third-party portals where the publisher distributes the game. We record session length, controls used, and notable moments in our internal log.

2

Fixed Evaluation Criteria

We score every review against the same six categories: controls clarity, depth, visuals, accessibility, replay value, and onboarding friction. Each category receives a written justification, not just a number.

3

Editor Bylines & Dating

Every published review carries the editor's name, role, publication date, and the date of the most recent review pass. If a game updates significantly, we re-test and timestamp a new revision.

4

Sources & Corrections

Each review lists the public sources consulted (developer pages, publisher portal listings, community wikis). We log corrections at the bottom of the page and welcome reader feedback by email.

This editorial framework is the same on every review page on BrukDarelZyvik. If a piece does not follow it, it should be flagged to the editorial team.

Review Taxonomy

Our coverage is organised under a small set of stable, non-promotional categories. These categories do not change with traffic or seasonality — they reflect the editorial scope of the publication.

Multiplayer Shooters

Browser-based competitive FPS and arena shooters. We evaluate netcode stability, match length, weapon balance, and onboarding for new players.

Sandbox & Construction

Games centred on placing, building, or destroying blocks and structures. We focus on tool variety, save/share features, and the depth of the systems on offer.

Casual Arcade

Short-session titles built around quick rounds, physics, and reflex challenges. Reviews look at control responsiveness, accessibility, and pacing.

Party Platformers

Obstacle-course and battle-royale-style platformers that emphasise lighthearted multiplayer competition. We evaluate course variety and match fairness.

Creative Tools

Drawing, animation, and creation-led titles. We test the included tutorial flow, depth of tools, and the export/share workflow.

Editorial Backlog

Games that are queued for review, currently being re-tested, or awaiting a publisher update before re-evaluation. Each entry lists its planned review window.

The full review index, organised under these categories, is available on the reviews page.

About the BrukDarelZyvik Editorial Team

BrukDarelZyvik is a three-person editorial team based in London. We have a combined fourteen years of experience writing about browser games, web platforms, and consumer-facing software. We are not a games portal, an arcade, or an affiliate marketplace — we publish reading material, on a fixed editorial schedule.

Mark Holloway, Senior Editor, sets the publication calendar and approves the rating rubric for each category. Mark previously edited consumer-tech reviews for a UK trade publication between 2014 and 2022.

Priya Anand, Reviews Lead, runs our hands-on testing sessions and writes the majority of the long-form reviews on the site. Priya has been writing about web-distributed games since 2018.

Daniel Reyes, Research Editor, fact-checks every published review against public publisher information and maintains our list of sources. Daniel coordinates the rolling 90-day review-update cycle.

Our contact address for editorial correspondence, corrections, and source enquiries is support@brukdarelzyvik.com.

What Readers Use BrukDarelZyvik For

Because we do not run games on the page, readers use the site the way they would use any other reading-first publication:
to decide whether a game is worth their attention before they look it up elsewhere.

A Stable Index

Reviews are sorted under a small set of permanent categories. The list of categories has not changed since the publication launched in 2024 and is not driven by seasonal trends.

Reading, Not Playing

Every review is structured to be read in full. There is no embedded game player, no launch button, and no auto-redirect to an external platform.

Honest Verdicts

Each review ends with a written verdict that includes the editor's actual opinion, including the cases where we recommend skipping a game. We are not paid by publishers.

Cited Sources

Each review lists the publisher pages, portal listings, and other public material we consulted. External links open in a new tab and are presented as citations, not as buttons.

BrukDarelZyvik is a reading publication. Decisions about playing a game happen after the article, off-site, on the publisher's own platform.

Reader Correspondence

Emily Carter · Manchester, UK · received 14 April 2026

"The structured rating tables are what I keep coming back for. It is the first browser-game site I have used that explains what is being measured."

James Walker · Bristol, UK · received 02 March 2026

"I appreciate that you say up front whether a game is worth my time and you list the sources you used. The reviews read like proper journalism."

Olivia Bennett · Leeds, UK · received 19 January 2026

"Having a clearly dated last-reviewed line on every page is a small detail that matters. I know whether the information is current."

Noah Mitchell · Edinburgh, UK · received 08 December 2025

"The pros-and-cons table is honest and the verdicts include negatives. That kind of independence is rare for browser-game writing."

Editorial disclosure: BrukDarelZyvik has no commercial relationship with the publishers of the games we cover. We do not receive payment for placement, do not run paid promotions, and do not host or sell any game. Our reviews are written for reading.
